Today’s quote is inspired by the fact that I’ll be at school from 6:45a.m. until 8:00p.m for parent-teacher conferences (all with a monster of a cold).

For all you unpublished/unagented writers out there, I just found a contest that might interest you. On Colleen Lindsay’s blog, The Swivet, mentions a scholarship/contest she is holding for registration to the Backspace Writer’s Conference at the end of May.
The conference sounds amazing, with small group critiques, agent pitch sessions, and author signings. Normally, the total conference costs over $700. I might have to find a way to get myself out to New York this spring.
